Ah, yes...QueenPower.com.

I don't know about you, but I absolutely love being a Queen. The idea of a queen theme came to me while writing my first book: Grab the Queen Power: Live Your Best Life!! Although I knew I was writing a book for and about women, I didn't know how to pull all the research and interviews together. One night in late 2003 I had a dream. Seriously! I awoke with a voice saying in my head: “I had a dream. I wanted to be a Queen.”

The dream helped me bring all the pieces together—the essays, research data and interviews. I can't explain it, but it did.

Inspired, I wrote essays about identifying with the Queen archetype. I thought about my childhood, a time when I felt most queenly, and I also thought about when the tiara started to slip. At some point it dawned on me, the Queen archetype provided a “roadmap” for women to follow.

When I started paying attention to the Queen archetype, I found so many others hearing the call. Diane Armstrong, the Queen of Plan Be; Georgia Richardson, Queen Jaw Jaw; and Jennifer Louden, author of the Comfort Queen series of books...just to name a very few. If other successful women had found their way following the trail of the Queen, then so could I. And, for that matter, so can you.

Unofficially, and later more officially, I became a Queen! It's our hope that you will discover the Queen within and start living the life you intended.

Take care,

Allyn Evans

P.S. Recently, an essay I wrote was accepted by Amazon.com's Shorts program. Of course, I am thrilled! If you are interested, the shorts cost 49 cents. The essay was about my experience as a juror. If you decide to check it out, you'll see that it wasn't a positive one and one I hope to never repeat. And yes, the passing of time does heal.
